I am by no means a pro photographer but my little 1953 Kodak Signet has been such a fun toy to play with and a good reminder that you don’t have to be an expert at something to just begin. It’s quite amazing that we can keep learning new things as long as we’re alive.
Plus it’s a nice bonus that these little film camera friends are an antidote to instant gratification — forcing the practice of patience and presence.
